Discrimination regarding medical issues and disparities within the medical system have created lasting challenges for patients and the medical profession. It is vitally important that medical practitioners are aware of the different symptom presentations they may see in patients of various skin tones and the unique experiences minority groups of all kinds experience relating to health care.
