Law reviews are scholarly articles written by legal experts, mostly affiliated with law schools, bar associations, or other legal organizations. Many times, the topics analyze legal issues or court decisions, though they may include student contributions. Interestingly, in the US and Canada, many law reviews are edited by law students with faculty oversight rather than by established legal professionals or professional editors. See more on the concept in the Basic Legal Research: Law Reviews libguide from Loyola University Chicago’s School of Law.
This page includes links to individual law reviews you may find useful in legal research. For more general legal research such as case law and statutes, see the Legal Research guide.
