The Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP)

The Clarkson University Libraries was designated a selective Federal depository in 1938. It serves the government information needs of the 23 rd U.S .  Congressional District along with other selective depositories located at St. Lawrence University in Canton, the State University College in Potsdam, the State University College in Oswego, and Plattsburgh State University.

The Branches of Government

The Legislative Branch

The House of Representatives and the Senate – passes the laws. Government documents related to the legislative branch.

The Executive Branch

Headed by the president – enforces the laws. Government documents related to the executive branch.

The Judicial Branch

Headed by the US Supreme Court – evaluates and applies the laws. Government documents related to the judicial branch.
