This event aims to bridge the gaps between CU students, the career center, the international center, and talent acquisition professionals from local and outside firms. It will provide students with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to showcase their talents through a compelling resume and confidently navigate interview processes. Biography: John, a distinguished 1992 honors graduate of Clarkson University, boasts an impressive career spanning over 25 years in the realms of HR and small business. Notably, he is the founder of Persone Staffing, a consultancy specializing in executive recruiting. Beyond his professional accomplishments, John is actively engaged in various community and business organizations, serving as an Advisory Board member for the NYS Small Business Development Center. His extensive involvement includes past membership in several Chambers of Commerce, a previous board position at the St. Lawrence County Leadership Institute, and a term as a Board Director for the American Red Cross. Currently, John holds a pivotal role as a Board Director for North Country Insurance, showcasing his ongoing commitment to strategic leadership. Additionally, he is a New York State Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, adding another dimension to his versatile skill set. John’s multifaceted experiences underscore his dedication to professional excellence and community enrichment.
