Empowering students through learning, mentorship, and connection
STEM Success Buddies pairs enthusiastic college student tutors/mentors with local high school students to spark curiosity and build confidence in core subjects like math, science, history, writing and others. Together, they work on academic skills, explore problem-solving strategies, tackle tough homework, learn how to study or even talk about college/career goals. STEM Success Buddies is all about learning together, offering encouragement and inspiring success. This program is designed to:
- Strengthen academic skills and help high school students reach their full potential.
- Offer mentorship and college-readiness support from peers who’ve recently navigated the journey to higher education.
Create meaningful leadership and service experiences for college students who want to serve as tutors and make a positive impact for local students and in our community.
