Overview
The North Country Incubator (NCI) is a business incubator with one physical location in Potsdam. The main office is located at Clarkson University’s Shipley Center for Innovation, Bertrand Snell Hall, Office 324. Other remote locations include: Saratoga, Saranac Lake, Plattsburgh, Massena, Ogdensburg and Watertown.
NCI offers select early-stage businesses a menu of traditional incubator services such as office or laboratory space, business consultation, business education, workshops, prototyping and feasibility analysis.
Resident and affiliated companies receive added value through NCI’s association with the Shipley Center at Clarkson University. The role of the center is twofold:
- To increase the number of successful start-up companies originating in or relocating to Northern New York
- To promote and accelerate the commercialization of University and industry research.
