Welcome to the Clarkson University Graduate Students Association clubs. Here you will be able to get information on our sports clubs and cultural clubs. You may request for participation through this platform. If you are a graduate student at Clarkson University this is a great place to socialize with the community through sports and cultural associations.
Sports Club
Some of our members might play at a higher, more competitive level but we provide a fun environment for all levels of players. We strongly encourage graduate students who desire in starting a new sports club to take the steps to make this desire a reality!
How Do I Start a Sports Club?
To start a sports club you may email CUGSA at gsa@clarkson.edu and express interest. The email must contain your name, your major, your year of study, and the name of the club that you are interested in starting.
CUGSA will consider supporting any sports club that:
- Has majority regular participation from graduate students.
- Has at least 10 graduate student members participate in any CUGSA sporting club event(s) over the past year.
Cultural Club
To help foster the cultural environment of the graduate student community CUGSA encourages students to participate and form cultural clubs.
How Do I start a Cultural Club?
If you are willing to form a cultural club or seek funding for an existing cultural club formed by graduate students fill out this form and express interest. The email must contain your name, your major, your year of study, and the name of the club that you are interested in starting and if/how it is different from the existing clubs.
Any cultural club sponsored by CUGSA must follow the Code of Conduct.
