Opportunity
Postdoctoral Researchers
There are currently no funded postdoctoral positions available in the Liguori Research Group.
Researchers interested in applying for external postdoctoral fellowships are welcome to contact Dr. Liguori to discuss potential research alignment and sponsorship opportunities. Inquiries should include:
Information about the intended fellowship or funding opportunity
A curriculum vitae
A brief description of research experience
A summary of proposed research interests
Graduate Students
The group is not currently recruiting graduate students through a directly funded research position. However, prospective students may apply to Clarkson University’s M.S. or Ph.D. program in Chemical Engineering.
Applicants whose interests align with the group’s research areas may indicate their interest in membrane science, reaction engineering, catalysis, sustainable energy, carbon dioxide utilization, or ion separation in their application materials.
Admission to the graduate program does not guarantee placement in a particular research group. Research supervision and project availability are discussed after admission based on mutual research interests, laboratory capacity, and available funding.
Undergraduate Students
Clarkson undergraduate students interested in gaining research experience are encouraged to contact Dr. Liguori.
Potential undergraduate research activities may include:
- Membrane preparation and characterization
- Gas- and liquid-separation experiments
- Catalyst preparation and testing
- Membrane-reactor operation
- Sustainable energy and resource-recovery projects
