Account Information
Per OIT Policy, STAFF accounts are terminated Immediate, FACULTY who leave amicably retain e-mail and data accounts for a period of 90 days, and STUDENTS will retain email access for a period of 1 year.

- “[Employee] is no longer with Clarkson University. Your e-mail has been forwarded to a team member in [Department]. If you have any questions, please contact the office at (315) 268-XXXX.”
- “[Employee] is no longer with Clarkson University. Please contact [Department] at (315) 268-XXXX if you would like to speak to someone”
NOTE: If you require Delegated Access to their email, you must request permission from HR (hr@clarkson.edu).

Note: Moodle Content can be exported on their own, OIT can provide assistance if needed - just have them contact helpdesk@clarkson.edu. Google Drive content requires OIT's assistance and a separate ticket will be created and escalated to proper OIT staff.

Mobile Device
IMPORTANT: Have the exiting employee remove any passcodes, Apple ID and any personal data from their cellphone before turning the device in to the department. Return the device to OIT so it can be wiped. It will then be returned to the department. Failure to do send will render the device useless.

- Laptop (including charger and peripherals)
