About the Artist
Although she won art awards as a child, Connie Seaborn began exhibiting in adult competitions and museum shows in 1969. After receiving a BFA from the University of Oklahoma, she began a full-time, self-supporting career in fine art alone in 1980. (She also earned an M.Ed. with an emphasis in studio art from the University of Central Oklahoma.)
In 2001, Seabourn began teaching at Rose State College in Midwest City, OK, and currently teaches as an adjunct faculty member at both Rose and UCO while she steadfastly continues to make and exhibit her art.
