Clarkson University’s Center for Advanced Materials Processing (CAMP) invites you to attend its 2026 Annual Technical Meeting in Clayton, NY, on June 1-2, at the 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel.
This is a fantastic opportunity for NY State companies from all types of industries – aerospace, medical, semiconductor, construction, etc. – that have needs to develop, understand, and manufacture advanced materials to learn from experts in the field at Clarkson.

We are thrilled to have Dr. Curtis Zimmermann, Chief Legal Counsel of Forge Nano Inc. as the keynote speaker!
Dr. Zimmermann is, among other things, responsible for overseeing and identifying legal issues in all departments, along with their interrelation to the business and technological operations of Forge Nano Inc. He is a former BASF Govt Liaison Manager, and PhD graduate (’90) from Clarkson, having studied with Prof. Egon Matijevic and Richard Partch.

The 2026 CAMP Annual Technical Meeting will include a special celebration of Prof. Richard (Dick) Partch’s 60 years at Clarkson and (nearly) 40 years of contributing to CAMP and NY State companies!

Accommodation
CAMP has a block of rooms reserved at the 1000 Island Harbor Hotel (block is reserved until April 30, 2026).

Non-Clarkson attendees should call the hotel (315-686-1100) to reserve a room. Mention that you are attending the CAMP Technical Meeting for the discounted rate ($195/night).

Monday, June 1:
- Late morning & lunch: Advisory Board members and CAMP staff (invitation only)
- 2 pm: Start of technical meeting
Sessions I and II – Technical presentations - 6:30 pm: Dinner (buffet style) and boat cruise on the St. Lawrence River
Tuesday, June 2:
- 7 – 8:30 am: Breakfast
- 8:30 am – 12 pm: Sessions III and IV – Technical presentations
- 12 – 1:30 pm: Lunch
- 2 – 3 pm: Session V – short “pitch” presentations (students and industry)
- 3 – 5 pm: Session VI – student poster presentations
- 5 – 6:30 pm: Reception
- 6:30 – 9 pm: Dinner and keynote presentation by Dr. Curtis Zimmermann
