“The BRAINSTEM program offered at Clarkson University offers high school students the opportunity to learn about the neuroscience of drug addiction. Many of my students are interested in a STEM career and this program might change and influence their career path. BRAINSTEM allows my high school students to work with college professors introducing complex, real-world problems that stimulate curiosity. The students will use the skills they are learning in their future academic and career pursuits, such as critical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork. As a teacher at Ogdensburg Free Academy, and NYS Master teacher, I am honored to be a part of this program.”
