This minor prepares students to understand, build, and apply intelligent systems — and is designed to be accessible across nearly all majors. It meets real industry demand while complementing existing programs like the Data Science major, with a distinct focus on algorithmic, modeling, and system-level applications of ML and AI.

The language of modern ML — vectors, matrices, and transformations that underpin nearly every algorithm.
Programming & Data Science
Programming fundamentals plus an introduction to data science — the practical toolkit for working with real datasets.
Machine Learning Core
A hands-on course in machine learning tailored to the student’s background — with pathway options through ECE, IS, or CS.
