Students are exposed to the academic expectations of writing in historical narrative<br>and related academic styles, with a focus on citations and backing one\u2019s work up with critical sources and<br>relevant references. Critical thinking will be created by reading and analyzing current and past historical<br>narratives. Intellectual empathy will be encouraged with the mandate to \u2018do no harm\u2019 when writing and<br>discussing sensitive topics and issues.
