organize, cite, and share your research sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With&nbsp;Zotero, you can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create and manage citations of books, articles, websites, videos, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Import citations directly from databases, the library catalog, or Google Scholar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add searchable notes and tags to citation records<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attach article and chapter&nbsp;PDFs&nbsp;and images to citation records<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bEasily and quickly create a bibliography in a variety of reference styles (APA, databases, and even some regular web pages, with one click. (Zotero&nbsp;publishes a&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.zotero.org\/translators\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.zotero.org\/translators\">list of compatible sites<\/a>, and many sites not on this list also work.) If&nbsp;Zotero&nbsp;detects that you\u2019re looking at a book or article on a catalog, database, or a site like Amazon.com,&nbsp;LibraryThing&nbsp;or the New York Times, you\u2019ll see a book or page icon appear in the address bar of your browser. Hold the control key and click to select multiple items. The plugin adds a&nbsp;Zotero&nbsp;toolbar to your word processor that allows you to add citations to your document while you write.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To add a citation, click the first button (\u201cInsert Citation\u201d) on the toolbar. Search for the reference you want to cite and press Enter.&nbsp;Zotero&nbsp;will add the citation at your cursor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of your paper, click the third button (\u201cInsert Bibliography\u201d). Your bibliography will appear, and new citations will be added automatically. Then:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open&nbsp;Zotero&nbsp;preferences (via the gear menu) and select the Sync tab.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your&nbsp;Zotero&nbsp;user name and password.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check the \u201csync automatically\u201d box.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check both boxes under File Syncing and choose&nbsp;Zotero&nbsp;storage for My Library.
