CLARKSON UNIVERSITY IMPETUS PROGRAM<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

IMPETUS stands for Integrated Math and Physics for Entry to Undergraduate STEM (Science, Technology Engineering, Mathematics). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IMPETUS program is a cooperation between the St. Lawrence, Lewis, and Franklin County School Districts, and Clarkson University. IMPETUS is funded through NY State Education Department’s STEP (Science Technology Entry Program). The program consists of our:

Academic Year Program<\/a>,
Summer Roller Coaster Camp<\/a>, and
STEM Success Buddies Program<\/a>.

Through these programs, students receive academic support and mentoring, career planning and awareness, and college and other leadership recruitment opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our academic year program will begin in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Problem of the Week competition will kick-off in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
