Since the early 1990s Arlo has been manager of the family gallery in Santa Fe New Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arlo began his artistic career carving Kachina dolls on commission. After tiring of the traditional form, Arlo began to experiment with style. He enlarged, and simplified the figures and used less paint. Arlo eventually began using a variety of woods and became more minimalist.
