About the Artist

Oton Gliha was a Croatian painter of Slovenian descent. He was born on May 21st, 1914 in Črnomelj, Slovenia, to a Slovenian family originating from Istra. Until the age of ten, he lived in Slavonia, (eastern Pannonian part of Croatia), and later moved to Zagreb where he completed his secondary education.
