Schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

The race is an all day event, starting in the morning with an “eye dotting” ceremony at 8:30 a.m<\/strong>., which awakens the dragons.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each team will race in two heats against other teams to compete for the top time. The two race times will be added together and the top 3 or 4 scoring teams will then compete head to head to win the overall event. Races take place in less than a few minutes each. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There may be time in between your races when you aren’t directly on a boat, and have the chance to watch the other races, visit the local vendors, participate in the other activities, view the live entertainment or just relax on the beach. Awards ceremony will be held immediately following race completion at 1:15 p.m<\/strong>. Music, games and activities will continue until 5 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boats will be launched from the most western area of the beach. EMS and lifeguards will be present.<\/p>\n\n\n

Racing Schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The racing schedule will be posted when the racing teams have submitted their release forms and the racing brackets have been finalized. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
