CUHEAT (Clarkson University’s Home Energy Awareness Training) is a free job training program that provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed for a career in home energy. Supported by NYSERDA, the program offers a combination of online coursework and on-the-job training to prepare individuals for success in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After completing the introductory online modules, trainees can further their expertise by specializing in one of three areas: Residential Energy Auditor, Weatherization Technician, or Heating Systems Technician. With a data-driven approach and real-world applications, CUHEAT fosters career growth while empowering communities to lower energy costs and move toward a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next In-Person Training Opportunity – April 7-9<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Please join us at Clarkson University April 7-9. The mornings will consist of classroom style course material. The afternoons will consist of hands on training in the field, working with local contractors. The 3-day workshop will cover all of the requirements for the CUHeat program. Participants will be eligible for a $500 stipend after successful completion. Please click here<\/a> to learn more and to find registration information.
