CUHEAT: Clarkson University Home Energy Awareness Training

CUHEAT (Clarkson University’s Home Energy Awareness Training) is a free job training program that provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed for a career in home energy. Supported by NYSERDA, the program offers a combination of online coursework and on-the-job training to prepare individuals for success in the field.

After completing the introductory online modules, trainees can further their expertise by specializing in one of three areas: Residential Energy Auditor, Weatherization Technician, or Heating Systems Technician. With a data-driven approach and real-world applications, CUHEAT fosters career growth while empowering communities to lower energy costs and move toward a more sustainable future.
