They will have vary levels of injury and be taught how to act to make their injuries seem as real as possible.&nbsp;You will &#8220;convincingly&#8221; (best shot, doesn&#8217;t need to be perfect, we can help teach you how you should be) act out these injuries. &nbsp;You will have a card for you to look at with vitals that will need to be expressed to the responders treating you. You will need to meet with us once before the date of the MCI, to set up makeup.&nbsp;NO MEDICAL EXPERIENCE NEEDED.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bystander<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The bystanders are tasked with creating the atmosphere of a crowded and chaotic environment, but have no medical issues to be assessed by our responders. It will be up to the responders to separate bystanders from patients. These will be little or no training for bystanders,&nbsp;NO MEDICAL EXPERIENCE NEEDED.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Observer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Observers jobs are first to ensure that everyone remains safe, and second to make sure that the MCI runs according to plan. The Observers will likely be trained and knowledgeable of the plan, they will not be participating in the MCI and will be there to control real emergencies if they arise.&nbsp;NO MEDICAL EXPERIENCE NEEDED.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responder<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Responders are tasked with responding to the MCI in the most realistic way possible. To try to preserve this realism, they will be given as little information as possible prior to the incident. The responders are part of a first response agency of some sort such as CUEMS, PVRS, Potsdam PD, Potsdam FD, Clarkson CSS, Etc.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thank you so much for attending the 2025 CUEMS MCI Drill, We hope you had as much fun as we did!
