Students on the powering team use their knowledge and skills in chemistry and engineering to create an efficient battery that supplies sufficient power to the motor on the car which allows the car to move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Research:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the beginning of every year, the powering team researches new ideas for the battery of the car.
