SUMMARY:2nd Annual Black History Month Sickle Cell Blood Drive
DESCRIPTION:In recognition of Black History Month\, the Office of Access Initiatives\, in partnership with the American Red Cross\, invites the campus community to participate in the 2nd Annual Black History Month Sickle Cell Blood Drive on Wednesday\, February 25\, 2026\, from 10:30 AM–4:30 PM in the Student Center Multipurpose Rooms.\nSickle Cell Disease disproportionately affects individuals of African ancestry\, making diverse blood donors—particularly donors of African descent—essential to providing compatible\, life-saving transfusions and improving long-term health outcomes. This blood drive highlights the critical role of inclusive blood donation in supporting individuals living with Sickle Cell Disease.\nAppointments are encouraged and appreciated\, and walk-ins are welcome.
