Re-Lei for Life 2026

“In May 1985, Dr. Gordy Klatt walked and ran for 24 hours around a track in Tacoma, Washington, ultimately raising $27,000 to help the American Cancer Society fight the nation’s biggest health concern – cancer. A year later, 340 supporters joined the overnight event. Since those first steps, the Relay For Life movement has grown into a worldwide phenomenon, raising nearly $5 billion to fight cancer.”

The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life (aka Re-Lei for Life) 2026 event will be beach/tropical-themed! Come join us in honoring and supporting those who have been affected by cancer. This is a community-wide event, everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend! There will be games, activities, food, a Luminaria Ceremony, and recognition of survivors. With performances by many Clarkson student groups, you’re sure to have an entertaining night. Student organizations that you’re a part of can plan fundraising efforts for before and during the event to win prizes and make a meaningful impact. Together, we can fight back against cancer and honor many years of hope, resilience, and progress.
Re-Lei for Life will occur on Saturday, April 11, from 5 pm – 1 am at the IRC gymnasium.
