Hot Wing Question Challenge

Residence Life is excited to host a Hot Wing Question Challenge designed to spark interest and conversation around becoming a Resident Advisor or House Advisor. This interactive and high-energy event invites students to test their spice tolerance while answering fun and thoughtful questions about leadership, community building, and the RA/HA experience.
We are hoping to host this activity in the Student Center Concourse, where it will be highly visible and accessible to students. The setup would require one table and two chairs. The event is scheduled for January 16th from 3:00–4:30 PM, or until we run out of wings.
Residence Life will provide all materials, including hot wings, sauces of varying heat levels, beverages, and all necessary cleanup supplies. Students can stop by, grab a wing, answer a question, and learn more about what it means to be an RA or HA in a fun, low-pressure environment.
This activity is designed to:
Create an engaging and memorable way to promote the RA/HA role
Encourage students to ask questions and learn about the application process
Foster connection between current staff and prospective applicants
Build excitement and visibility around Residence Life leadership opportunities
Overall, the Hot Wing Question Challenge offers a unique blend of fun, engagement, and recruitment, helping students envision themselves as future leaders within Residence Life.
