With the start of the new semester, it’s time to welcome two new undergraduate researchers to the FAST lab. Grace Ameis and Kelly Boutin. Grace will be investigating impulse enhancement of a vortex ring passing through a cylindrical aperture. The objective of Kelly’s work will be to mimic muscle activation in synthetic self-oscillating vocal fold models.
